[12/5/09] The Holidays

Hey, guys, this is my first post in December. Making another... by popular demand... ahem.

Well, anyways, I have a few things to rant about in this particular post. Firstly, you stupid people who get so into the holidays, particularly Christmas. All of you stupid people who deck their house out in lights, and all for what? To light up the fucking neighborhood so other people don't need an electric bill? To win some kind of award?

Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Smith, you have the highest electric bill and have successfully made your house catch on fire!

You do not win. You most likely don't even give a flying fuck about Christmas. Holy hell. It is supposedly Christ's birthday, but we don't even know if he exists. If I had a penny for how much sense it made to give other people presents for someone else's birthday, I'd be fucking poor. It's like a kid down the street has a birthday, and you give your dad a present. I'm not trying to be against Christians but I seriously don't see how that makes any sense whatsoever. If anything you should give a Christian church gifts, at least that makes a bit of sense.
